Chaining drifts in Neon Circuit Rush

Neon Circuit Rush is a fine game if you tap the boost when it fills. It's a great game once you learn to never let the drift chain break. The whole skill ceiling lives in stringing corners together without touching the brakes more than you have to.

Start by learning three or four tracks cold. When you know where the turns are, you can set up your drift early, and an early drift is a long drift. Long drifts mean more boost, and more boost means you enter the next corner faster.

I switched from tilt to touch controls after a week and my times dropped instantly. Tilt feels natural but it's harder to hold a precise drift angle. Your mileage may vary, but at least try both before you settle.

Don't hoard boost. Spend it on straights right out of a corner exit so you carry the speed into the next drift setup. Sitting on a full meter is wasted potential, and this game punishes hesitation more than mistakes.
